Cultivating a vibrant market for local growers and makers.
VISION
Growing the heart of the community through the Pemberton Farmers’ Market.
VALUES
Community
We are committed to building community through our programs, partnerships and outreach and are welcoming and accessible to vendors, customers and community partners including farmers and artisans.
Engagement
We engage with our community through fun, positive, educational, and creative experiences and offerings. We seek out partnerships that enhance the market and celebrate community connections for everyone from kids to grown-ups.
Respect
We treat everyone with respect – our board, vendors, customers, community members, funders and extended partners. We foster a supportive environment of mutual respect for everyone who engages with the PFM.
Transparency
We are transparent in our selection processes, policies, funding, research, education and outreach. We share clear participation and assessment criteria with vendors to ensure that authentic, high quality local goods are selected for PFM.
Diversity
We are welcoming and inclusive to all market visitors in our vendor selection process, which fosters diversity in product offerings and experiences. We seek to reconcile and improve relations with local indigenous groups by extending market opportunities to the cultural and geographic region as a whole.
